Honourable mention
in despatches

Last year The Weekend Sun, celebrating 10 years of publication, carried this accolade:

‘There are many music groups in The Bay, from the
Jazz Society and Acoustic Music Club to Tauranga Musica,
but the gem in the crown is Katikati’s Folk Club which
hosts the best of Kiwi folk and a surprising slate of top international folkies.’

Thanks to columnist Winston Watusi for the compliment.

Ukulele Group

The Katikati Ukulele Orchestra (many of whom are Katikati Folk Club members) meets weekly and is looking for new members.

It's easy and it's fun.

If interested, please call Christine Donehue - 07 549 5827 or

Outward bound?

If you’re heading out of the Bay, you might like to catch up with what’s happening at Devonport Folk Music Club or Hamilton Acoustic Music Club.
